Snow Day

Rain Mist

This weeks TGIF at Altered Designs was an ATC using Paint Chips. Our local hardware store had these neat paint chip samples that are actually stick on and this one is called Rain Mist. It is sort of a gray green colour but the scan doesn't do it justice.

Trick or Treat

At Altered Designs we are working on a Holiday Tag Book mingle with the first one being for Halloween. This is mine to swap out.

Masculine ATC

This is an old piece of art that I just revamped to use for a mingle open theme.

If Only I had Wings

I think this one is my favourite. The theme was Wings and I pulled things together from different places.

Starting with patterned scrapbook paper from Webster's Pages for the background. The upper most butterfly is from Dover and the other butterfly and the flower with Bee is copied from postage stamps. The sweet little girl is from a Lisa's Altered Art collage sheet and I cut into the patterned paper so that I could make it look like she was pushing the carriage. Last but certainly not least I stamped the saying using a stamp from Inka's Stamps (I think this has been sold but not sure where it went)

Africa

Another ATC for Altered Designs. This one the theme was Postage Stamp and I've used two stamps from the country of Burundi and placed them over a photo that I downloaded from the internet.

Back to School

The first of three recent ATCs done for Altered Designs TGI Fridays

Fabric ATC

Another ATC for Altered Designs TGIF. This one is done with velvet, embossed using the Spellbinders Impressibilities "Flower Silhouette"and then I used Luminarte's Polished Pigments and the Fabric solution to paint some of the flowers. The flourishes and the flowers not painted were touched with glitter pen. Enjoy! and thanks for looking.

Summer Fun

This is the ATC I did for the monthly lottery at Altered Designs. Our winner for June picked the theme for this month and chose "Boys". I used a free image from Cora over at Clearly Vintage that fit the theme and I thought fit the season. I resized it a bit and printed it and then used coloured pencils to add colour detail.

In a Secret Garden

This is my ATC for the Altered Designs TGIF this week. The theme was Risque and this is my interpretation. The woman, left butterfly and the roses came from collage sheets I purchased from Michelle at Digital Collage Sheets . The flourishes are Basic Grey rub-ons and the right butterfly is from a dollar store sticker sheet. The words are computer generated by me.

This weeks TGIF theme at Altered Designs is Hands. This is my interpretation.

The theme for this ATC was Bookpage. Since I have trouble ripping pages
out of books I used a book I couldn't read anyway so I didn't feel so bad.

The Beach

This is my Lottery ATC for June at Altered Designs. The theme was at the beach and this one uses a piece of recycled junk mail as the background.

Another ATC for Altered Designs TGIF. This was an open theme and the background is sponged with Colorbox Chalk inks

Fragile

Another ATC for the weekly TGIF at Altered Designs. I missed last weeks but I'm early for this weeks. The theme was altered magazine page. Mine actually came from a Regals Catalogue because I only buy keeper magazines and I wasn't willing to cut any up.

Another Note

This is my ATC for this weeks TGIF at Altered Designs. The theme was open but I was having fun with the Just a Note theme from the cards.

In the Garden

This piece is done for a Monthly lottery on one of my groups. The requirements were 3 x 5 inch size Gothic Arch which I took a bit of liberty away from the standard shape. Also it had to incorperate a vintage lady which came from http://www.digitalcollagesheets.com/ along with the flowers and butterfly images

Just a Note #3

This is number three for the Just a Note series of cards for a group mingle. The requirements were that it must have the phrase "Just a Note" and include some type of writing instrument or ink well image.
