TGIF ATC

I haven't been very creative since doing my Christmas cards but I did manage to create a Birthday card which I forgot to scan before mailing and this ATC for the Friday Mingle on Altered Designs. The theme was Transparencies and this is a tropical scene printed to transparency and then mounted over a piece of polished stone. It was done with alcohol inks in terracotta, butterscotch and copper with the setting sun done with a punched circle of scrap paper glued to the polished stone at just the right position to look like it is setting on the horizon. The word was stamped with Memories white ink but wasn't dark enough to suit so I went over it with the Sakura White Glaze pen. To attach the transparency to the background I used copper foil tape.

Looking at this picture you can imagine how much I would like to be in it when all I see looking out my window is snow and ice. Hope you all are having a great day and keeping warm or cool depending on which hemisphere you live in. Feel free to leave me comments, they are always welcome and appreciated.
